The Police and Crime Commissioner is elected every 4 years by the people of the West Midlands.

The election of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner took place on Thursday 2nd May 2024. 

The Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) was directly elected by voters from the seven local authorities that make up the West Midlands police area. They are Solihull, Coventry, Sandwell, Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Dudley.

The electorate in the West Midlands totals 2,018,546 and of those eligible to vote, 595,218 exercised that right. That is a turnout of 29.5%.
