Directly responsible to: Business Support Team Leader

12-month fixed term contract

Location: Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners in West Midlands

We are seeking an intern to support the smooth running of our office administrative function. You will be expected to handle casework and enquiries from members of the public in an efficient and professional manor, and support meetings and events to ensure they run effectively.

This role would suit an individual who has an interest in the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner and would use this opportunity to add capacity to our office, while gaining and developing valuable administrative and customer service skills; while also experiencing work in public sector administration. The individual would have the opportunity to shadow other members of staff and understand and support some of our key priorities.

The role will be for a 12-month basis and the successful candidate would be expected to work in the centre of Birmingham at least 3 days a week.
