Within the boundaries as defined by the Operational map, specifically the Ladywood area of Birmingham West and South Yardley and Stockland Green areas of Birmingham East NPU’s.
In relation to recent incidents involving firearms discharge and a number of other violent criminal offences in the area, which involved use of weapons by certain criminal elements of the community. There is therefore a need to protect the community from such violence by preventing further crimes.
Four searches took place under the S60 authority, with no arrests, although one vehicle was seized for no insurance.
