A s60 application was authorised running from 15:30hrs on 20th May to 07:00hrs on 21st May for the Alum Rock area of Birmingham. This was as a result of an increase in the number of firearms discharges in this area over the previous few days. There was engagement and communications with the community and as a result of the s.60, nine people were subjected to stop and search, none of whom were arrested or found to have any relevant items on them.
