The Violence Reduction Partnership is an alliance of organisations working together to reduce the types of violence that affect children and young people within the West Midlands.

Do you have significant strategic experience in leading multi-agency teams and operating at a senior leadership level? We are looking for a Director who has a real understanding and knowledge of the West Midlands and what the Violence Reduction Partnership is working to achieve. You must be able to deliver at pace, make an impact, build trust with communities, partners and statutory organisations and make informed decisions considering evidence, research and evaluation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, adaptable and dynamic individual with strong experience of formulating business strategies within a complex partnership and political environment. You must also have a working experience of Violence Reduction Partnerships to ensure delivery against our priorities. You will be expected to coach, develop capability and drive performance in line with objectives, vision and values.

You will be a strategic senior leader with the ability to collaborate alongside people from a wide range of disciplines, organisations and backgrounds, and be responsible for supporting individuals and organisations across the violence reduction system to work together effectively. You must be committed to reducing inequality across the region, be comfortable delivering in line with a public health approach and be a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
