| #POWERS | Officers are using Section 60 powers in the Bloxwich and part of Walsall Town Centre areas of Walsall today. The order which is in place from now up to 0300 hours on 30/11/22, covers Bloxwich, Mossley, Blakenall and part of Walsall Town Centre. This gives us the power to stop and search people we suspect may be involved in violence, without the need to have reasonable grounds. The Section 60 is in place after a serious violent incident in Bloxwich High Street and at the top of Park Street, Town Centre on 28/11/22. Our priority is to protect YOU the public.
