The Assistant West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Dr Lynnette Kelly, has formally opened TSB’s new Financial Crime Operations unit in Sheldon, Birmingham, in a grand opening event.
The inauguration on Friday 16 February 2018 saw Dr Kelly attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at TSB’s office at Coventry Road, where around 600 TSB Partners provide operational support for the challenger bank. This includes over 60 TSB Partners in the recently-opened Financial Crime Operations team who are responsible for protecting TSB and its customers from different types of financial crime including money laundering, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption.
The grand opening also featured a meet and greet of the new team, giving the Assistant Commissioner a chance to talk to the TSB Partners directly about their roles, as well as a celebratory lunch.
