Annual Business Summit, 18 January 2016

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson hosted his Annual Business Summit focussing on cyber crime.

Scores of businessmen and women, senior police officers and industry experts attended the event on January 18.

The keynote speaker was Tony Sales, a reformed online fraudster who now advises the businesses and organisations he once targeted.

Also on the panel was Mark Kenyon, Chief Finance Officer for the PCC;  Brendan Connor, Strategic Police and Crime Board member and lead for Business; and DCI Iain Donnelly and Chief Superintendent Sally Bourner from West Midlands Police. 

The event took place at Maple House and items up for discussion included how to protect yourself from cyber criminals, West Midlands Police's WMP2020 modernisation programme and the 2016/17 budget.
